Whether you are building a new broiler farm or upgrading an existing poultry house, Little Giant can help you design a practical broiler production equipment according to your house size, stocking target, climate conditions and management requirements.

Little Giant Broiler Cage Products

Little Giant offers different broiler cage system solutions for commercial poultry farms, including automatic harvesting cages and standard broiler cage models. Each product is designed to support efficient broiler production, easier daily management and better use of poultry house space.

Choose the right broiler production equipment according to your farm size, stocking plan, automation level and project budget.

Automatic Broiler Harvesting Cage

The Automatic Broiler Harvesting Cage is designed for modern broiler farms that need faster bird collection and lower labor cost. It is suitable for large-scale farms looking for a more automated broiler production equipment

Best for:
Large broiler farms, automatic harvesting projects, high-labor-cost markets

4100 Type Broiler Cage

The 4100 Type Broiler Cage is a practical solution for farms that need stable cage structure, convenient feeding access and efficient space use. It is a suitable broiler production equipment option for medium and large poultry houses.

Best for:
Standard broiler houses, farm expansion projects, floor-raising upgrades

4140 Type Broiler Cage

The 4140 Type Broiler Cage is designed for farms that require higher feeding efficiency and better management convenience. It can be matched with automatic feeding, drinking and manure removal systems to form a complete broiler production equipment.

Best for:
Large poultry farms, automated broiler production, higher-density farming projects

Broiler Cage System vs. Floor Raising

Item Broiler Cage System Traditional Floor Raising
Space use Higher utilization of poultry house space Lower density
Manure contact Birds are separated from manure more effectively Birds stay closer to litter
Labor requirement Lower with automation Higher manual workload
Feeding management More controlled and uniform More dependent on manual adjustment
Bird catching Can be upgraded with automatic harvesting Usually manual catching
Farm hygiene Easier to manage with manure belt Litter management is more demanding
Project suitability Suitable for modern commercial farms Suitable for lower-density farms

A broiler production equipment is especially suitable for investors and poultry farms that want standardized management, higher automation and more predictable production.

Why Commercial Broiler Farms Choose Little Giant

39 Years. One Manufacturer. Complete Accountability.

From the cage frame to the climate controller, every component in a Little Giant broiler production equipment installation is manufactured or sourced under our quality management system. When something needs attention after commissioning, there is one number to call — not three separate vendors pointing at each other.

Built for Your Climate, Not the Brochure

Little Giant does not ship a standard European broiler system to a 45°C desert farm. Every project begins with a site assessment: climate data, house orientation, local grid reliability, water pressure, and biosecurity requirements are all inputs to the engineering specification. You receive a system that was designed for your conditions.

Desert-to-Harvest Reference: Egypt 100,000-Bird Cage Broiler Farm

A reference project delivered in 2025 for a commercial broiler operation in Egypt's Western Desert illustrates what climate-specific engineering delivers: full H-type cage system with maximum-capacity tunnel ventilation, high-density evaporative cooling, and LG800 smart climate management. First-flock survival rate: 98%. Energy consumption: 30% below client's target based on local benchmarks.

EPC Turnkey — One Contract, Zero Integration Risk

For new-build farms, Little Giant delivers broiler production equipment as part of a complete EPC service: from house design and civil works through equipment installation, commissioning, flock placement support, and training. Single-point accountability from groundbreaking to first harvest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is cage-reared broiler meat accepted in all markets?
A:No — and this is a critical market selection question. Cage-reared broiler production is the dominant commercial model in China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and much of Africa. However, Europe, North America, Australia, and premium export markets increasingly specify floor-reared production as a welfare requirement. Before specifying your broiler farming equipment, confirm your target market's production standards with your off-take buyer.

Q: What FCR should I realistically expect from an H-type cage broiler system?
A:Under good management and feed quality, 1.50–1.58 is achievable in H-type cage systems. FCR is primarily determined by feed quality, genetics, and disease management — equipment determines the ceiling, not the floor. Our cage design ensures zero avoidable feed wastage and consistent feed access for all birds in each tier, which eliminates the major equipment-related FCR drag.

Q: What is the difference between broiler cage and layer cage in your product range?
A:Broiler cages are designed for meat-breed birds grown 35–42 days to harvest weight. Key differences from layer cages: plastic cage floors (not wire, to prevent breast blisters), wider pan feeder spacing (birds grow rapidly), no egg collection systems, higher stocking density per tier (shorter cycle, lower total feed weight per bird vs layer), and integrated harvesting equipment. Layer cages are covered under our Layers & Breeders product category.

Q: Can the floor rearing system be installed in an existing building?
A:Yes — retrofit is one of the primary use cases for our floor rearing system. The equipment (feeding lines, drinking lines, climate control) is installed within the existing building envelope. We require house dimensions and structural drawings to confirm fit and specify ventilation requirements. Slatted floor systems require a concrete pit below the floor level for manure collection; deep litter systems do not.

Q: How long between harvest and next flock placement (cleanout cycle)?
A:In cage systems, cleanout is simpler — birds are removed via the harvesting cage system, manure belts are cycled to clear accumulated material, and the house can be washed and dried in 5–7 days. In floor rearing systems, full litter removal, washing, and drying typically takes 10–14 days. Cage systems' shorter cleanout cycle is one of the factors that allows 6–7 production cycles per year vs 5–6 for floor systems.

Q: What happens if a climate controller fails mid-flock?
A:The LG800 climate controller operates with a fully redundant alarm and fallback system. Temperature out-of-range triggers immediate SMS/app alerts. Backup manual override mode maintains ventilation function. Our 7×24h technical support line is available for remote diagnostics, and spare controller units can be dispatched for critical installations. For large operations, we recommend keeping one spare controller unit on site.
